This vintage houndstooth Emanuelle Khanh jacket is elegant 80s, 40s inspired! The bodice is fitted with princess lines and vertical darting in front. Shoulder are padded. A long dramatic peplum creates a lean but curvy line, enhanced by the clean collarless neckline. accents includes angled welted pockets on the peplum, a welted left chest pocket and three small black velveteen buttons on each sleeve cuff.
SIZE: No size label. I wear a modern size 12, and the jacket fits me, with length to spare for my longer than usual arms.

FABRIC/COLORS: No fabric content label, and no place to snip a sample for a fiber burn test. I believe it's wool, fairly light weight, in a small houndstooth check, black and white. Lining is medium gray, seems to be acetate.
TAGS: Emmanuelle Khanh
CLOSURES: Seven buttons down the front, covered in black velveteen.
CONDITION: Excellent. I don't see any stains, holes, or tears. There is some color change to the lining seen on the upper back.
